Car park closing time moves to 18:00 starting on Monday 17 February

If you are lucky, you may spot Coltsfoot  on the bank in the car park opposite the first gate onto North Down, nearest Fairfield. It flowers from late February through to April. As the month progresses, the evenings become slightly lighter and consequently the car park closing time will move forward an hour to 18:00 on Monday 17 February. As usual, the car park will be unlocked by 08:00.

It is important that all visitors leave the car park promptly. Opening and closing the car park gate is done by volunteers, who will always check to see if anyone is nearby before before locking the gate.  However, If a vehicle is left in the car park after the stated closing time, it may well be locked in and you would need to retrieve it the following morning.

These times will remain in place until the end of March/early April. The exact date will be publicised a few days beforehand. Please check the Blog and News page on the website for the latest opening and closing times.
