On a glorious autumn afternoon, we were delighted to host once again the annual Cambridge University Hare and Hounds (CUHH) Cuppers event on Saturday 12 November. CUHH was formed in 1880 and is one of the oldest running clubs in the world. The course used parts of both the North and South Down. There were separate races for women (6.2 km) and men (10.1 km). CUHH members marshalled the course ensuring that the runners did not impede other visitors enjoying Magog Down and vice versa. Our thanks to Claire and Nick Beale, the Down Rangers, who worked closely with the student organisers to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
