As work continues along Haverhill Road as part of the upgrade to the electricity power network from Fulbourn to Sawston, the contractor, Kier, has just informed us that access to the Magog Down car park will be via the A1307/Babraham Road from today (Monday 30 September onwards). They expect this work to take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to complete but this will be dependent on weather and progress.
From the Stapleford village end of Haverhill Road, the simplest way to get across to the A1307 is via Hinton Way. As far as we are aware, it will still be possible to walk to Magog Down from Stapleford along the footpath.
