Annual Reviews

Each year we now produce an 'Annual Review' for Friends and Members, which incorporates a summary of our formal Year-end Report, plus what we hope are some interesting highlights of the year in question.

News from the Down prev  :  next

The brand new Magog Down web site has been launched!

The clearly and simply designed site has been developed in conjunction with Stapleford-based design agency CBA Design & Marketing.

The new site is based on CBA's content managed system allowing administrators to quickly and simply add text and imagery to the site.

A prime objective of the site is be much more informative and also to attract more donors, volunteers and those who would be interested in becoming a friend of the Trust. In the future the site will be developed further to add in extra facilities for revenue generation.

Speaking of the new site, Lesley Bennett from CBA Design said: "We were honoured to be selected to produce the updated site for the Trust. We've supported the Magog Downs for many years and Murphy – our in-house Labrador – regards it as his favourite walk!"

Feedback is welcomed on the site so we can see what users like and dislike about it. With the benefit of such a flexible content management system, we'll be able to quickly address any issues that users have.

Old Newsletters

Up until 2011 we produced a twice-yearly Newsletter, and you can still download copies of some of these here:

Spring 2009

In 2011 the re-designed website was launched, and so the decision was taken to stop producing these Newsletters, and instead to use this website as the main means of communication for news and articles of interest.

This move away from a regular Newsletter meant that more of the Members' and Friends' subscriptions could be spent directly on the costs of upkeep and husbandry on the Down.

We would love every regular visitor to Magog Down to help support its upkeep by becoming a Friend. Read more on our Join Us page, and then complete the application form.
